Calculator use
The calculator code processes inputs in your browser. You do not need to provide an email address to obtain an estimate. This does not mean that browsing the website is anonymous: analytics and infrastructure services may process information about your visit.
Checklist requests and correspondence
When you request the checklist by email, we store your email address, the requesting page and the request time to handle the request and related support. The address and email content are also processed by the website’s email delivery infrastructure. Requesting the checklist is not a subscription to a marketing newsletter.
If you email us, your message and contact details are used to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send passports, pension numbers or bank account documents. To ask about access, correction or deletion of your submitted information, use the form above and describe your request.
Inquiry forms and abuse prevention
Our inquiry form sends your email address and the details you provide to our team through the website’s email delivery service. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not store the inquiry body in the WordPress database; the message is processed and retained in our email system to handle the request and related correspondence. Do not send identity documents or financial identifiers.
To protect the forms, we use an essential session cookie and short-lived request tokens. Rate-limit records use keyed hashes of email addresses and network addresses, rather than storing those addresses in plain text in those records. These records expire and are scheduled for deletion. Hosting and email infrastructure may maintain their own technical logs.
Personal information requests have a separate form option and do not require a detailed editorial inquiry. If you cannot use the form, contact info@jptaxguide.com. We may need to verify control of the relevant email address before providing or deleting information.
Analytics and external resources
This website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and usage. Google explains the information it receives, including page URLs and IP addresses, and browser controls in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Fonts and scripts may load from external providers. Loading them creates requests to those providers. Hosting and email services may also process technical logs as part of providing their services.
Links to other sites
Official guidance and financial-service links lead to websites with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information. We do not receive your bank login details through the calculator.
